Recently, Cisco’s Research Group released a new test plan for Cisco certification voice experts (CCVP). The original CCVP was divided into two directions, CCVP: Cisco Unified CallManager and CCVP: Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Candidates can choose either of them according to their own situation.
Both of these two CCVP certification directions require candidates to participate in five examinations, three of which are compulsory subjects for both directions. One of them is CVOICE exam, the latest exam code released is (642-436), which is released with CCVP: Cisco Unified CallManager certification. Candidates who have already passed CCVP certification can choose to participate in the July testing of old versions of CVOICE (642-432) exam, and then obtain update. Another two examinations are Cisco Quality of Service (QoS) 2.2 examination, with exam code (642-642) and Cisco Troubleshooting examination, with exam code (642-426).
Now Cisco Unified CallManager direction examination’s uniqueness is the Cisco gateway exams (642-453) and the new or old version of Cisco IP phone examination, with respective exam codes (642-444) and (642-445).
Cisco Unified Communications Manager direction examination requires three compulsory subjects plus two new examinations. The two new examinations are as follows: IP phone 6.0 1 (642-446) and 2 (642-456).
In addition, in view of all the new examinations, all Cisco laboratory-based simulation trainings are available.
